2024-09-11

PE coated paper is a special kind of paper, the main feature of which is that a layer of polyethylene (PE) material is coated on the surface of the paper. This coating treatment gives the paper a variety of excellent properties, including waterproof, moisture-proof, oil-proof, and improves the wear resistance and aesthetics of the paper. PE coated paper is widely used in packaging, printing, advertising and other fields, especially for packaging materials that require waterproof, moisture-proof or oil-resistant properties, such as food packaging, cosmetic packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, etc.

The production process of PE coated paper usually includes coating a layer of PE material on the base paper, and making the PE material firmly attached to the surface of the paper through a specific process. According to different needs, PE coated paper can be divided into two types: single-sided coating and double-sided coating. Single-sided coated paper is mainly suitable for some specific occasions, such as making paper cups, paper bowls and other products that require one side to be waterproof; while double-sided coated paper has more comprehensive waterproof performance and is suitable for more diverse application scenarios.

PE coated paper also has certain environmental protection performance, because PE material is a recyclable material, which is conducive to reducing environmental pollution and resource waste.

PE coated paper has good printing properties, and various printing and decorative treatments can be performed on its surface to meet the personalized needs of different customers.
